For our Snugi Collections, we use just two types of wool: 100% natural merino wool or 100% pure wool.

All our yarns are fully certified and ethically sourced by our yarn suppliers in both Donegal and Italy. As long as they’re gently and properly cared for, our garments and blankets will keep you snug for years to come.

All our wool is naturally temperature regulating, hypo-allergenic and 100% biodegradable.

There is absolutely no animal testing anywhere in our supply-chain cycle. All our superfine Italian yarns are mulesing free and RWS (Responsible Wool Standard) certified, which promotes standards for animal welfare and land management.

All our pieces are designed to be gender-neutral so they can be worn by, and passed down to, anyone.

SNUGI products are manufactured sustainably by skilled craftspeople in Co. Donegal in Ireland’s rugged northwest. Our most exclusive knits are crafted by hand by some of the country’s finest ‘cottage’ handknitters. Others are workshop-produced in small batches.

It’s our great privilege to see the extraordinary skill and commitment that these artisan knitters put into bringing our designs to life.

To ensure our products and business operations have minimal impact on the environment, we also:

• avoid all harmful chemicals and toxins during production
• use only fully compostable packaging, which has been sourced and produced in Ireland
• print items only where necessary, using recycled paper sourced in Ireland.
